Artichoke Dip

I’m pretty much at the mercy of my pregnancy cravings these days. I act on them... QUICK. Today, I got the hankering for spinach artichoke dip. I headed to Walmart to get what I generally thought I needed and lucky for you guys I wrote down what I did so I could share the recipe if it was good. AND IT WAS. I cooked it on the stovetop but if you wanted it to be pretty you could probably throw it all in a bowl and stick in the oven and broil cheese on top.

6 oz cream cheese

1/4 cup heavy whipping cream

3/4 TBS of garlic

1/2 cup sour cream

3/4 cup shredded parmesan

2 cups frozen spinach thawed and drained

1 13oz can of chopped up artichoke hearts

1/4 cup chicken broth

Salt and pepper to taste

Drain and thaw spinach and set aside. Add cream cheese and cream and heat until cream cheese melts. Add garlic, sour cream, and shredded parmesan, stir. Add spinach, artichokes and chicken broth and cook on low for 3-5 minutes until everything is well combined. Serve with whisps, fried @cutdacarb chips, bacon, or my favorite- a spoon! 🤤
