Sweet and Spicy Low Carb Chili

This sweet and spicy recipe for low-carb chili will warm its way to your heart and become one of your favorites. There is just one challenge here: the wait of 2 hours resisting the temptation of the incredible smell of homemade chili. Other than that, having the best chili at home was never this easy.

Cook time: 120 minutes

Total time: 130 minutes

Yield: serves 4-6


Ingredients:

3/4 cup Parmesan cheese

2.5 lbs ground beef

1/2 cup diced yellow onion

1 tbs minced garlic

1/2 tbs salt

1 tsp pepper

1 tbs chili powder

2 tsp cumin

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tbs Worcestershire

2 1/2 cups beef broth

14.5 oz can diced tomatoes

8 oz tomato sauce

1/2 tbs hot sauce

1 can of black soybeans (optional)

1 tbs sugar free BBQ sauce


Step 1

In a saucepan, brown the ground beef and drain the excess fat. 

Step 2

Add onions and garlic and saute till onions are translucent for approximately 5 minutes. 

Step 3

Add in all seasonings.

Step 4

Add all remaining ingredients. Mix to combine.

Step 5

Simmer for 1-2 hours on the stove. Stir occasionally and check once every 30 minutes to watch out for scorching. 

Step 6

Enjoy with all your keto faves: avocado, cheese, sour cream, and/or bacon.
